BoardGameMenu is a free website. You do not create an account. We ask only for a BoardGameGeek username and a player count so we can build a menu from a public collection.

Information we process

• BoardGameGeek username and player count that you submit to generate a menu.
• Public collection and game data retrieved from BoardGameGeek for that username.
• Standard server and hosting logs such as IP address, user agent, and request paths, as provided by our host (Netlify).
• Advertising and analytics cookies if Google AdSense is enabled on the site.

How we use data

Submitted usernames are used only to fetch public BoardGameGeek collection data and return a menu. We cache collection lookups briefly and cache game weight details longer so repeated visits are faster and place less load on BoardGameGeek.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure performance. Visitors in the EEA/UK may see a consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can learn more in Google's advertising policies.
